I enjoyed the bit where they mentioned the 'Sound Guard Body.' I was doing a Gold Key tour at the factory in Waterloo approximately 12 years ago, and the guys were talking about cab manufacture. When I stated that they used to refer to them as a "Sound Guard Body," they said they'd never heard of that!

I began working on John Deere tractors as a mechanic at a dealership in 1972, the last year the 20 series was built. The 30 series followed, with a demo in the fall of 1972 and manufacturing running from 1973 to 1977. For our farm, I purchased a new 4630 in 1977, the last year of production. The 40 series debuted in 1978 and lasted until 1982. That was my final production year because I acquired a 4840 for the farm while still working as a mechanic and farming. Following that, the 50-series was released. Remember the John Deere Day (Farming Frontiers) shows? They were always fun. Many thanks for the memories.

I absolutely enjoy your videos. I work with a man who was in a farm accident and lost his right arm at the shoulder. He doesn't talk about it, but I know it happened when he was little. He has, happily, established a wonderful life for himself. He is now the President and CEO of a State bank.

- you discover much more about cultivating that you understand you know! I'm willing to wager you likewise know a great deal about the historical backdrop of, the economy of, and, surprisingly, the geology of the locale where you reside. You know why things are done how they are. For example, can any anyone explain why sugar beets are filled solely in the Red Stream valley of North Dakota, and not where you live? How frequently do those Dereecho storms occur? Consider the most seasoned individual you at any point by and by met who lived in your space. Did that individual at any point discuss Dereecho storms? Provided that this is true, what were they gotten back to in the day? We as a whole realize you have too much going on, yet kindly consider creating a few recordings about more extensive themes. You know a great deal about the everyday business of cultivating [no little feat!]. yet, you know a ton more than that!
