Mike, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Farming today is very different from what it was when my father was farming when I was a child. I'm a long way from the open fields these days, but films like these, especially this long one, are priceless. Farming, as Amos indicated below, is still a gamble. The payoffs can be enormous, as can the loses.

This is a massive effort. Not only does top-tier equipment exist, but so do the logistics to keep everything flowing and productive. Yes, Mike, the sound of the bailer can be soothing. Those X9s are monster harvesters!! Mike, you made an excellent video.

Wow, just wow. I grew up on a farm/ranch in Utah in the 1970s and 1980s, and that was far more remarkable than anything we had access to. It's encouraging to see wheat sown and, more importantly, harvested. This has been a difficult year for the entire world.

I actually spotted the broken-down x9 sitting at the AHW dealer a week ago, and after seeing this video, it makes sense why it was there. As again, fantastic video; I particularly appreciate the lengthy format. It'd be fantastic if you could make it out there during corn harvest. That would be an interesting sight to watch as well!

This is one of the most entertaining farming videos I've ever seen. It demonstrates how large a business farming has become. Millions of dollars of equipment, many hours of maintenance to keep it running and ready to go. In an operation like this, having personnel ready to go is essential. I can't even image how much fuel was required to run all of this machinery. All of this planning, and the farmer is still at the mercy of the elements. He was fortunate to have beautiful weather for this. How many days was this video about?

Viewing in London, United Kingdom. These longer shows are my favorite. It's fascinating to witness all of these different harvesting and planting procedures in action, as well as how food is prepared. The Ukraine crisis demonstrates the importance of this form of industrial agriculture in feeding the world's population.
Is a farm like this profitable these days, with greater crop prices but higher input prices for fertilizer, seed, pesticides, and so on?
